Privacy Policy - Bee Careful!

Bee Careful! ("the Game", "we", "us") is a free mobile puzzle game by Hari Vansi. This
policy explains what the Game collects, why, and your choices. By playing, you agree to it.
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do
not collect your real name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts,
photos, or any sensitive personal information.
What we collect
To run the leaderboard and to understand how the Game is played, we collect:
- An anonymous player ID - a random identifier created on your device the
first time you play. It is not linked to your name, email, Google account, or device
hardware ID. It lets us count returning players and attach your leaderboard score to your entry.
- A display name you choose - only if you open the leaderboard and enter one.
It is shown publicly next to your score. Please do not use a real full name or any personal
information. You can change it at any time.
- Gameplay data - level numbers reached, outcomes (win/lose), time taken,
honey earned, stars, bee-stings, and which mode you play. Anonymous gameplay telemetry used
to balance and improve the Game.
- Leaderboard scores - your total and weekly honey totals, shown publicly
next to your chosen display name.
- Basic technical info - the platform (e.g., Android) and app version, to
diagnose problems.
We do not collect real names, emails, passwords, phone numbers, location, contacts,
photos/media, advertising IDs, or payment information (the Game is free with no purchases).
How we use it
- To operate the leaderboard (ranked scores with chosen display names).
- To understand and improve gameplay, difficulty, and the player experience.
- To diagnose crashes and technical issues.
Where your data is stored
Anonymous gameplay events and leaderboard scores are stored using Supabase
(a cloud database service) on our behalf. Access is restricted and used only for the purposes
above. We do not share it with advertisers or sell it.
Children's privacy
Bee Careful! is family-friendly and suitable for young players. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children. The only free-text a player can enter is a leaderboard
display name - please choose a nickname, not a real name. If you believe a child has entered
personal information, contact us at the email below and we will remove it promptly.
Your choices and rights
- Stay anonymous - you can play the whole game without entering a
leaderboard name.
- Change your display name - any time, via Settings -> Edit Player Name.
- Remove your leaderboard entry / delete your data - email us at the address
below and we will delete your leaderboard entry and associated anonymous records on request.
Data retention
We keep anonymous gameplay and leaderboard data for as long as the leaderboard and the Game
are active, or until you ask us to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will appear here with a new
"Last updated" date.
